Conference summing up the project
From 6 - 9 September 2016 in Zamość , the conference summing up the project „Safe Europe – fight against cross-border and organised crime on the Eastern Border of the EU” was held from the funds of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009 – 2014 in the framework of the Programme PL 15 “Schengen cooperation and combating cross-border and organised crime, including trafficking and itinerant criminal groups.
During the conference the realisation of the project was summarized, the achieved results were presented as well as the directions of further cooperation were discussed. The conference was also an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences between the project partners and other representatives of the Police, who did not participate in the project.
On the Polish side the conference was attended by representatives of the National Police Headquarters and the Regional Police Headquarters in Lublin and the regional police headquarters in the country. The conference was also attended by the representatives of the Spanish National Police, Bureau of Criminal Police of the genral Police Headquarters in Lithuania, the General Inspectorate of Romanian Police, the General Directorate of the Bulgarian Police, the Board of the State Police in Volyn region.
