Seminar in Siła concerning migration of criminal groups
On 20 -23 September 2015 in Siła near Olsztyn the seminar on migration of the criminal groups was held. The seminar was opened by Andrzej Zielonka – the Deputy Chief Commander of the Regional Police Headquarters in Olsztyn. Beside the criminal service police officers from warmińsko-mazurski region, the officers of the lubelski, podkarpacki and podlaski police garrisons took part in the seminar as well as the representatives of the National Police Headquarters, District Prosecutor Office in Olsztyn, Police Academy in Szczytno, Warmińsko-Mazurski Border Guard Unit and CustomService in Olsztyn.
The participants of the seminar discussed the international car thefts criminal groups, on the example of the co-operation with Lithuania, they talked over the Joint International Teams dealing with car thefts criminality, using modern technical tools in the methodology of fighting the migration of criminal groups, methods concerning the fight against organized criminal groups responsible for counterfeiting alcohol products in the aspect of international crimes and fights against foreign criminal groups.
During the seminar the specialist equipment among others mobile devices for far-reaching observation, equipment used for x-ray and infrared scans and drones was presented.
