Warsztaty dotyczące przeciwdziałania handlowi ludźmi w Zamościu

On 24 - 29 May 2015 in Zamość  the workshops on preventing human trafficking in the scope of the project „Safe Europe – fight against cross-border and organised crime on the Eastern Border of the EU” financed from the Norwegian funds were held. The workshops were attended by officers from the Regional Police Headquarters in Białystok, Olsztyn, Rzeszow and Prevention and Road Traffic Bureau of the National Police Headquarters - partners involved in the project realisation as well as invited guests from the District Court in Lublin, Appellate Prosecutor's Office in Lublin, District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin, Nadbużański Border Guard Unit, Central Investigation Bureau, Bureau of the Criminal Service of the National Police Headquarters, Police Academy in Szczytno, La Strada Foundation and the Foundation Homo Faber.

                                                                              

During the 5-day training workshops their participants got acquainted with the provisions of the international and national regulations concerning preventing human trafficking, features of the crimes associated with human trafficking, tactic of hearing the victim, the algorithm of a proper procedure towards the victims and its characteristics. The representatives of the institutions participating in the workshops presented the most interesting cases concerning human trafficking.
